Do I need a website.

Every business needs to advertise and a website can be the most cost effective way of achieving this. You can advertise your business 24/7 for a relatively small price.

It is also an ideal way of keeping regular customers up to date with your products or services as they change. We guarantee any updates to your site will be completed within 24 hours.

Pricing

Our pricing policy is dependant on the content of your website, it is not possible to give definitive prices here. However at NorthernMonk we don't charge per page as a lot of other companies do.
We believe in giving value for money, and our prices reflect that. We include, as standard, full SEO (search engine optimistaion) you should never pay extra for this.
For a basic website we charge £499, this will include the pages you need to give information which promotes your business.
Extra costs will include image galleries, calendars, categorised content, portfolios, product catalogues etc.
The size of the site will obviously be reflected in the price, the bigger the site the longer it takes to build.
What we don't do is ask for any money up front, you don't pay anything until the site is completed to your satisfaction. We also offer interest free payment options to spread the cost and get your business on the web as quickly as possible.

What other costs are involved.
The only other costs you will incur is the purchase of your domain name and hosting. These are annual costs which average around £50.

Who looks after the website.

You have 3 options here

• You look after the site yourself, if all you need is some of the content updating once in a while we can show you how to do this yourself.
• When you need content updating you contact us and the work is invoiced.
• NorthernMonk offer maintenance packages which are tailored to keep your site not only updated with your latest information but include regular back ups, statistics and your website updated with any security patches.

Do you offer any other services.

We have recently purchased our own servers in the UK. This means we are able to offer our customers a fast, reliable hosting solution.
Everything you need will be included in the price, all your email addresses, sufficient space to not only host your website, but allow it to expand.
If you need a SSL certificate, we can supply it. Full ftp access if you require it, MySQL databases, automated scripts (dependant on hosting package purchased).
If you find you need more email addresses as your business expands you get them free, we don't put a limit on what you can have for the price we quote.
Our whole business ethic is to look after our customers, everything is tailored to your needs.
And it is cheaper than you think!

Having recently expanded to include a Graphics Design department we can also offer the services of fully qualified graphics artists.
Whether you require a tweak to your existing designs, or full Company branding, we understand the importance of a brand image.

What's the next step.

We arrange a consultation to discuss exactly what you want on your website. This can be in person, over the telephone, or via video conference.
Once we have your requirements we will work on a basic outline of the website, give you options to choose from, and agree a price.
Once the basic outline is agreed we will build the website including your content.
We can then show you a completed website and you decide whether you require any final tweaks before it is published.
Only when your website is live will you be invoiced for our work.
